An introduction to the Creative Clarity blog!

Updated: Oct 3, 2021

This is a quick overview to see if this is the blog for you!

Who the heck am I?

Hey there! My name is Katie and I am the owner of KatieAnne Coaching. In a matter of 3 months, I got engaged (on top of a mountain in Alaska- it was magical), moved across country, and re-assessed my priorities. ALL while running my business Let's just say there was a lot of change that came with the start of 2021! I feel most connected when I am in nature,. Creativity is my fuel- along with coffee and anything that makes me laugh. Every time I do laugh, I ugly cry and snort a little bit. (It's not pretty but I embrace it ;) The first business I started failed due to lack of passion and alignment. I started another one and it's been my life ever since.

5 years ago, I was at the lowest point in my life- creatively blocked and battling a debilitating chronic illness, my self-worth was at an all time low... Something had to change. I hated answering the question "what do you do" and had no idea what direction I was headed in (but knew it sure as hell wasn't the corporate marketing job that overwhelmed my life). It took a spiritual encounter with a snowy owl to wake up and begin the journey to health, self love and acceptance. I got out of the corporate marketing grind, decided to put my energy towards my passions instead of someone else's dream, and now today I am a business owner, speaker, Reiki master, and meditation facilitator.

Why am I here?

I am starting this blog as a way to increase awareness around what so many of us women go through: chronic chaos in our lives. My goal is to continue empowering women to move from chronic chaos to creative clarity and find their own "snowy owl." To look beyond the chronic condition, whether that's a disease, stress, burnout, etc... and start defining the person they truly are meant to be. I coach individuals on this however I know there are so many others out there struggling and it is my hope that this blog will bring value to you and whoever else out there needs practical and applicable tips/knowledge/inspiration to move their lives forward.

What's this thing really about?

The pillars that have defined, saved, and changed the lives of myself and the women who work with me, are centered around creativity, spirituality, clarity, and love. I will be writing about my experiences, wins, failures, and progress in hopes that you, the reader, will find connection in some parts of the tidbits I share. There will be how-to's, tips, inside looks into what has worked and what has not worked for me, and of course a few light hearted laughs because if we aren't laughing, what the heck are we doing here?

Who is this for?

If you are a women who is feeling like life is chaotic- like the stress, burnout, chronic pain, (fill in the

chronic blank) has clouded the other areas of your life, my hope for you is that this brings you inspiration, motivation, and clarity to take back your life. To redefine what living means- beyond that

chronic identity that has taken over. We naturally tend to give our time to everyone else but when the chronic chaos is in control, right now it is you who needs the time. If you're tired of being tired, of hiding your true beauty behind the fear and overwhelm of your current state of function, I've got you! You aren't alone and we are so in this together!

Ok great... but what's the goal?

Often times, finding ourselves in someone else's story can be a catalyst for change so it is my hope that as I bring you these topics, you find that either (1.) you are not living the life you want and apply the tools to initiate change, or (2.) that you realize you are in alignment and clear on who you are and what you have to offer the world. If I can help just one women, move from a state of chronic chaos in her life to creative clarity, I am fulfilled.

This blog will bring you laughter, ask you thought provoking questions, get you motivated and inspired, and provide tools and tips that have worked for me and so many of the women I get to coach 1:1 with.

ps. If you are looking for a custom plan and accountability to help you transition into a new creatively clear identity, not defined by your chronic condition, I offer individual and packaged coaching sessions. You're also welcome to join my growing Facebook community!
